मुख्यमंत्री सुखविंदर सिंह ने श्री गुरुद्वारा साहिब में टेका माथा, गुरु गोबिंद सिंह का मानवता के लिए भी बताया अतुलनीय योगदान
मुख्यमंत्री सुखविंदर सिंह सुक्खू ने आज शिमला में गुरु गोबिंद सिंह जी के प्रकाश पर्व के पावन अवसर पर श्री गुरुद्वारा साहिब शिमला में माथा टेका।
इस अवसर पर श्रद्धालुओं को संबोधित करते हुए मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि गुरु गोबिंद सिंह एक महान संत, योद्धा, कवि और दार्शनिक थे, जिन्होंने न केवल खालसा पंथ की स्थापना की बल्कि मानवता के लिए भी अतुलनीय योगदान दिया।
सुखविंदर सिंह सुक्खू ने कहा कि गुरु गोबिंद सिंह जी ने मुगल अत्याचार के खिलाफ बहादुरी से लड़ाई लड़ी। उन्होंने कहा कि जब वह नौ वर्ष के थे, तब उन्होंने अपने पिता गुरु तेग बहादुर जी को कश्मीरी पंडितों को मुगलों के अत्याचार से बचाने के लिए प्रेरित किया।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि राज्य सरकार सभी धार्मिक स्थलों में बिजली के मीटरों पर व्यवसायिक दरों के स्थान पर घरेलू दरों पर शुल्क लेने की मांग पर सहानुभूतिपूर्वक विचार करेगी क्योंकि ये धार्मिक संस्थाएं मानवता की सेवा कर रही हैं।
मुख्यमंत्री ने अपनी ऐच्छिक निधि से लंगर सेवा के लिए 11,000 रुपये देने की घोषणा की।
इस अवसर पर उन्होंने श्री गुरुद्वारा प्रबंधक कमेटी शिमला की ओर से मेधावी विद्यार्थियों को सम्मानित भी किया।
श्री गुरुद्वारा प्रबंधक कमेटी के अध्यक्ष जसविंदर सिंह ने मुख्यमंत्री को सरोपा भेंट कर सम्मानित किया।
इस अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री के प्रधान सलाहकार (मीडिया) नरेश चौहान, श्री गुरुद्वारा प्रबंधक कमेटी शिमला के महासचिव सेवा सिंह, विधायक अनिरुद्ध सिंह और हरीश जनारथा, मुख्यमंत्री के ओएसडी गोपाल शर्मा और अन्य गणमान्य व्यक्ति उपस्थित थे।
