शिमला के डाउनडेल इलाके में पुलिस की औचक छापेमारी, करीब 25 ग्राम चिट्टा बरामद, ड्रग तस्करी के आरोप में एक महिला और युवक गिरफ्तार
राजधानी शिमला के डाउनडेल क्षेत्र में नशीले पदार्थों की तस्करी करने वालों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई करते हुए शिमला पुलिस ने आज 18 सितंबर को अचानक छापेमारी की और संदिग्ध ड्रग तस्करों के घरों में घेराबंदी और तलाशी अभियान चलाया।
तलाशी अभियान के दौरान एक स्थानीय निवासी के घर से करीब 24.16 ग्राम हेरोइन/चिट्टा बरामद किया गया। प्राथमिकी थाना सदर में एनडीपीएस एक्ट की धारा 21,29 के तहत 135/22 दर्ज किया गया है। इस मामले में स्थानीय निवासी दो लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया गया है। इसमें 40 साल की एक महिला और 19 साल का एक युवक शामिल है। शिमला पुलिस ने बताया कि तलाशी अभियान और कार्रवाई का उद्देश्य ड्रग तस्करों पर सख्त कार्रवाई करना और लोगों में सुरक्षा और विश्वास की भावना पैदा करना था। उन्होंने बताया कि इस तरह के औचक छापे नियमित आधार पर ड्रग तस्करों को निशाना बनाकर किए जाएंगे।
