हाल ही में प्रदेश सरकार में वरिष्ठ मंत्री महेंद्र सिंह ठाकुर द्वारा कुल्लू में शिक्षक वर्ग पर की गई मजाकिया टिप्पणी से शिक्षक वर्ग और सरकार के बीच उपजा विवाद खत्म होता नजर आ रहा है ।अब जल शक्ति मंत्री महेंद्र सिंह ठाकुर ने अपने बयान पर यू टर्न लेते हुए कहा कि शिक्षक किसी भी समाज की रीढ़ की हड्डी होता है और उनके द्वारा की गई टिप्पणी से यदि किसी को भी ठेस पहुंची है तो वह अपना बयान वापस लेते हैं ।उन्होंने विपक्ष पर चुटकी लेते हुए कहा कि कांग्रेस पार्टी बुरी तरह से छटपटा रही है।
वहीं दूसरी ओर हिमाचल प्रदेश शिक्षक महासंघ ने जल शक्ति मंत्री के स्पष्टीकरण के बाद उनका स्वागत किया है। शिक्षक महासंघ ने जलमंत्री के फैसले का स्वागत करते हुए कहा कि प्रदेश के विकास में और खास तौर से कोरोना काल मे हर हिमाचल वासी और सभी कर्मचारियों का अहम रोल रहा है। महासंघ के प्रांत अध्यक्ष पवन कुमार, प्रान्त संगठन मंत्री पवन मिश्र, प्रान्त उपाध्यक्ष डॉ मामराज पुंडीर, प्रान्त महामंत्री विनोद सूद, प्रान्त मीडिया प्रभारी दर्शन लाल ने फैसले का स्वागत करते हुए आगे से इस प्रकार के बयानों से बचने की सलाह दी। महासंघ के प्रांत उपाध्यक्ष डॉ मामराज पुंडीर ने कहा कि हिमाचल प्रदेश में मुख्यमंत्री सहित कई मंत्री ऐसे है जिनकी शालीनता की देश भर में मिसाल दी जाती है।
संघ के उपाध्यक्ष मामराज पुंडीर ने एक वीडियो जारी कर महेंद्र सिंह ठाकुर के बयान का स्वागत किया है । उन्होंने कहा कि इस बयान के बाद अब शिक्षकों और मंत्री के बीच किसी तरह का गतिरोध नहीं है।
जलशक्ति मंत्री महेंद्र सिंह ठाकुर के बयान के बाद सरकार पर चौतरफा हमले होने लगे थे और खास तौर पर विपक्षी पार्टी कांग्रेस वरिष्ठ मंत्री पर आक्रमक रुख अख्तियार करते हुए हावी हो रही थी ऐसे में अब मंत्री के स्पष्टीकरण के बाद और शिक्षक महासंघ की ओर से समझौते के बाद विपक्ष के हाथों से यह सियासी मुद्दा चिंता हुआ नजर आ रहा है हालांकि स्पष्टीकरण के दौरान सरकार के वरिष्ठ मंत्री पूरी तरह से सहज नहीं दिखे लेकिन उनके इस कथन से शिक्षक वर्ग का गुस्सा जरूर शांत होगा कि उनका मकसद किसी को ठेस पहुंचाने का करता ही नहीं था।
