आर वी आर्लेकर होंगे हिमाचल के राज्यपाल, बंडारू दत्तात्रे को बनाया गया हरियाणा का गवर्नर

हिमाचल प्रदेश में अब बंडारू दत्तात्रेय की जगह राजेंद्र विश्वनाथ आर्लेकर हिमाचल प्रदेश के नए राज्यपाल होंगे। राजेंद्र मूल रूप से गोआ के रहने वाले हैं। दत्तात्रेय को सितंबर महीने में दो साल का कार्यकाल पूरा होना था। राजेंद्र आर्लेकार गोआ सरकार में मंत्री रह चुके हैं। इसके अलावा गोआ विधानसभा के अध्यक्ष पद पर भी वह रह चुके हैं। 23 अप्रैल 1954 को गोआ के पणजी में जन्मे 67 वर्षीय राजेंद्र विश्वनाथ आर्लेकर अब हिमाचल प्रदेश के राज्यपाल के तौर पर अपना कार्यभार संभालेंगे। राजेंद्र आर्लेकर 2012 से 2015 तक गोआ विधानसभा के स्पीकर रहे हैं। इसके बाद अक्टूबर 2015 से 2017 तक वन पर्यावरण एवं पंचायती राज मंत्री भी रहे हैं। 2002 से 07 तक गाेआ विधानसभा में एमएलए रहे हैं। अब राष्ट्रपति ने उन्हें पहाड़ी राज्य हिमाचल प्रदेश का राज्यपाल नियुक्त किया है।
इनके परिवार में पत्नी के अलावा दो बच्चे हैं। राजेंद्र आर्लेकार 2012 से 2015 तक गोआ विधानसभा के स्पीकर रहे हैं।
