राजधानी शिमला में एक संत से हाथपाई के खिलाफ विश्व हिन्दू परिषद् ने सरकार से आरोपियों के खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई की मांग की है। बीते दिनों शिमला में विधानसभा के समीप स्थित रामकृष्ण मिशन आश्रम में एक महिला वकील अपने सहयोगी के साथ कई कुत्तों को लेकर पहुंची। महिला पर आरोप है कि उसने अपने कुत्तों को मंदिर के अंदर प्रवेश करने से नहीं रोका और जब वहां मौजूद एक व्यक्ति ने कुत्तों को बाहर करना चाहा तो उसने वहां मौजूद संत के साथ बहसबाजी व हाथापाई शुरू कर दी। महिला केवल यहां तक सीमित नहीं रही बल्कि बाहर जाते समय उसने संत पर पीछे से हमला कर दिया।
विश्व हिन्दू परिषद के प्रांत मंत्री सुनील जसवाल और ट्रस्टी अमन पूरी द्वारा जारी संयुक्त बयान में इस घटना की कठोर निंदा की है। उनका कहना है कि यह घटनाक्रम किसी धार्मिक स्थल की पवित्रता को जबरन अपवित्र करने वाला अपराधिक कृत्य है। उन्होंने सरकार से मामले की निष्पक्ष जांच करने तथा आरोपियों के खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई अमल में लाने की मांग की है, जिससे भविष्य में कोई भी धार्मिक स्थलों का इस प्रकार अपमान न कर सके। विश्व हिंदू परिषद के प्रांत मंत्री सुनील जसवाल ने इस संतों के अपमान वाली इस घटना की कड़ी निंदा करते हुए इसे हिन्दू समाज पर कुठाराघात बताया और निष्पक्ष जांच के बाद आरोपियों के खिलाफ कड़ी कार्रवाई की मांग की ।
उन्होंने स्पष्ट किया है कि साधु-संतों के खिलाफ विश्व हिन्दू परिषद किसी भी प्रकार की हिंसा का विरोध करता है। साथ ही दोषियों के खिलाफ कठोरतम कार्रवाई की मांग करता है।
