मुख्यमंत्री सुखविंदर सिंह सुक्खू ने मां ज्वाला जी के समक्ष नवाया शीश, धार्मिक पर्यटन को बढ़ावा देने के लिए सरकार की प्रतिबद्धता को दोहराया
मुख्यमंत्री ठाकुर सुखविंदर सिंह सुक्खू ने आज जिला कांगड़ा में मां ज्वालाजी मंदिर में पूजा-अर्चना की। इस अवसर पर उनकी धर्मपत्नी कमलेश ठाकुर भी उपस्थित थीं।
इससे पूर्व, नादौन से ज्वालाजी तक विभिन्न स्थानों में लोगों ने मुख्यमंत्री का गर्मजोशी से स्वागत किया। मुख्यमंत्री ने ज्वालामुखी में जन-समस्याएं सुनीं तथा मीडिया के साथ संवाद भी किया।
उन्होंने कहा कि धार्मिक स्थलों में श्रद्धालुओं की सुविधा के लिए सभी मूलभूत सुविधाएं उपलब्ध करवाई जाएंगी। सभी धार्मिक स्थलों में पार्किंग के अतिरिक्त मूलभूत अधोसंरचना को सुदृढ़ किया जाएगा।
राज्य सरकार कांगड़ा जिले को प्रदेश का पर्यटन हब बनाने के लिए दृढ़ता से कार्य कर रही है ताकि पर्यटन राजधानी के रूप में जिले की पहचान बनाई जा सके। यह लोगों की आय बढ़ाने में भी काफी मददगार साबित होगा।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि राज्य सरकार हवाई संपर्क को मजबूत करने के लिए कदम उठा रही है, जिससे उच्च श्रेणी के पर्यटक तथा अंतरराष्ट्रीय पर्यटक भी राज्य की ओर आकर्षित होंगे। हिमाचल प्रदेश में पर्यटन के बुनियादी ढांचे को और सुदृढ़ करने की आवश्यकता है। वर्तमान सरकार पर्यटन के बुनियादी ढांचे को मजबूत करने पर विशेष ध्यान दे रही हैै जिसके तहत हेलीपैड व रोपवे का निर्माण, जलक्रीड़ा गतिविधियों व धार्मिक पर्यटन को प्रोत्साहित करना भी शामिल है।
उन्होंने कहा कि पोैंग डैम जलाशय में जल्द ही जल क्रीड़ा गतिविधियां आरंभ की जाएंगी। राज्य सरकार देहरा में एक अंतर्राष्ट्रीय स्तर का चिड़ियाघर और कांगड़ा जिले में अंतर्राष्ट्रीय गोल्फ कोर्स स्थापित करने पर विचार कर रही है।
मुख्यमंत्री के राजनीतिक सलाहकार सुनील शर्मा, विधायक संजय रत्न, मुख्यमंत्री के ओएसडी गोपाल शर्मा, और अन्य वरिष्ठ अधिकारी भी इस अवसर पर उपस्थित थे।
