आज पुलिस स्मृति दिवस मनाया गया इस मौके पर शिमला के भराड़ी स्थित पुलिस ग्राउंड के शहीदी स्मारक पर पुलिस अधिकारियों व कर्मियों ने एकत्र होकर देश सेवा में अपना सर्वस्व न्योछावर करने वाले शहीद पुलिस कर्मियों को श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की । इस दौरान मुख्यमंत्री जयराम ठाकुर ने शहीद पुलिस कर्मियों को श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की
मुख्यमंत्री जय राम ठाकुर ने पुलिस स्मृति दिवस के अवसर पर राष्ट्र की सेवा में अपने प्राण न्योछावर करने वाले पुलिस कर्मियों को आज यहां श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि पुलिस स्मृति दिवस पुलिस कर्मियों और उनके परिवारों के प्रति आभार व्यक्त करने के अलावा ड्îूटी के दौरान शहीद हुए सभी पुलिस कर्मियों को श्रद्धांजलि देने का अवसर है।
जय राम ठाकुर ने पुलिस कर्मियों की सेवाओं की भी सराहना की, जिन्होंने कोविड-19 महामारी के दौरान उत्कृष्ट सेवाएं प्रदान कीं जो इस महामारी के संक्रमण के फैलने की रोकथाम करने में मील का पत्थर साबित हुई।
